TRIM HEALTHY MAMA WEEKLY MENU 2/14-2/20

Want some ideas for your Trim Healthy Mama menu this week? Check out what we are eating and I how make them into crossovers for my husband and children. The added crossovers are in parenthesis.

This weeks menu features recipes from Trim Healthy Table.

BREAKFASTS

Whatever we feel like making off the menu that day, I will have these items on hand. These Trim Healthy Mama meals are a great way to start your morning routine!

  • (S) Eggs w/ sausage(or bacon), greens, and sauerkraut (toast)
  • (E) Berry Goodness Oatmeal (butter)
  • (E) Sourdough Chocolate Chip Pancakes (butter)
  • (E) Sourdough Bagels w/ laughing cow cheese (regular cream cheese)(I like the bagel recipe in Artisan Sourdough Made Simple p.116)

LUNCHES

Additionally, I keep a few things and make what’s convenient or can be taken on the road.

  • (S) Zesty Tuna Patties (p.234) (fruit salad)
  • (S) Scones, Jam, and Cream Night (p.287)(regular scones, I swap out the sugar for honey or alternate sweetener)
  • (E)Ranch Hand Taco Salad (p.200) (Cheese)
  • (E) Sourdough biscuits (I skip the honey) w/ Coach Kanada Peanut Butter (regular peanut butter) and a Berry Kefir Smoothie

DINNERS

This is where my Trim Healthy Mama menu really shines! I will usually highlight these items as I make them or write next to them which day I’m planning. I like the flexibility this provides. Sometimes if it’s a busy week, I will assign days to the dinners.

  • (S) Crockpot Buffalo Chicken (crockpot)(p.92)w/ cauli rice (sourdough flatbreads)Perfect for after church lunch!
  • (S) Tuscan Cream Chicken (p.72)w/ spaghetti squash (pasta)
  • (S) Sushi Night (p.277) w/ fresh cut carrots and cucumber (rice for kids)
  • (E) Tootsie Bell Night (p.289) w/ sourdough flatbreads (cheese)
  • (E) Sweet Lime taco Joes (crockpot)(p.93)w/ sourdough flatbreads and lettuce, peppers, black or red kidney beans (cheese)
  • (E) Chicken Fried Double Rice (p.53)(cheese)

SNACKS/ DESSERTS

(These are for me, so I don’t worry about adding crossovers).

  • (E) Pumpkin Bam Cake (p.385)
  • (S) Brownie Fudge (p.404)
  • (S) Cinnamon Butter Bundt Cake (p.380)
  • (S) Peppermint Cream Chocolate Trimtastic Cake (I skip the peppermint flavor and make things these into cupcakes)(p.390)

DRINKS/ SMOOTHIES/SIPPERS

  • (FP) Berry Kefir Smoothie
  • (FP) Cherry Lime Good Girl Moonshine
  • (FP) Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake Down (p.470)
  • (FP) The Shrinker
