Want some ideas for your Trim Healthy Mama summer menu this week? Check out what we are eating and I how make them into crossovers for my husband and children. The added crossovers are in parenthesis.

This weeks menu features recipes from Trim Healthy Cookbook.

BREAKFASTS

Whatever we feel like making off the menu that day, I will have these items on hand. These Trim Healthy Mama meals are a great way to start your morning routine! I try to do more “E” meals for my fuel source to support my thyroid in the morning and really rev my metabolism.

  • (S) Eggs w/ sausage(or bacon) and greens (toast)
  • (E) Sweatpants Quinoa w/ creamy dreamy protein powder (butter)
  • (E) Egg White scramble with nutritional yeast and veggies with a light trimmy (p.430) (butter for kids toast and whole eggs)
  • (E) Oatmeal w/ THM Strawberry protein powder and frozen blueberries (butter)

LUNCHES

I prefer lunches to be leftovers or quick to throw together. Also, I like to mix up my fuels at lunch.

  • (S) Salad in a Jar (p.188) (fruit or air-fried fries)
  • (S) Creamless Creamy Chicken (p.78)(fruit)
  • (E) Sweetie on Steroids (p.76) (butter)
  • (E) Sweet potato fries (p.217/ air-fried)

DINNERS

This is where my Trim Healthy Mama summer menu really shines! I will usually highlight these items as I make them or write next to them which day I’m planning. I like the flexibility this provides. Sometimes if it’s a busy week, I will assign days to the dinners.I really enjoy an “S” meal in the evening but I will switch up my fuels here and there. (Crock pot items are in bold.)

  • (S) Beef Roast w/ gravy and carrots (potatoes)
  • (S) Meatloaf (p.157) w/ green beans w/ cauiltots (THF p.111) (SD bread for kids)
  • (S) Cheeseburgers w/ bacon, lettuce and avocado (French fries)
  • (S) Chicken pot pie (p.137) (fruit)
  • (E) Ground Turkey Tacos w/ corn tortillas, lettuce, beans, veggies, and a sprinkle of cheese (more cheese)
  • (E) Balsamic Chicken (p.56) w/ brown rice and added bell peppers (oil or cheese)

SNACKS/ DESSERTS

(These are for me, so I don’t worry about adding crossovers).

  • (S) Chocolate Berry Wedding Cheesecake (p.332)
  • (S) Trimtastic chocolate zucchini cake (p.296)
  • (FP) Butterfly Wings Cake w/ berries (p.301)
  • (E) Apple Crumble (p.338)

DRINKS/ SMOOTHIES/SIPPERS

  • (S) Thin Mint Chocolate Shake (I like mine with almond extract instead)(p.410)
  • (FP) Cherry Lime Good Girl Moonshine
  • (FP) Iced Coffee (p.442)
  • (FP) Singing Canary

Stay tuned as I release a new Trim Healthy Mama menu each week!
